Is the AI really accurate?
For everyday meals, it's reliable — and it shows its confidence score on every scan, drawing on Open Food Facts and USDA. For an unusual dish or an odd portion, you adjust in two taps: you always keep the final say. We'd rather show you our margin of error than hide it.
What happens to my photos?
They're sent to our server only for the time of the analysis, then deleted. We don't keep them, we don't resell them, and we don't use them to profile you. The details are in our privacy policy.
How do I cancel my subscription?
In one tap, from your Google Play subscription settings, whenever you want. No form, no email to send, no attempt to hold you back. And we warn you before your 7-day trial ends, so you're never charged by surprise.
What does the paywall look like?
It's closable. It clearly states the price (€39/year) and the 7-day trial, then lets you carry on with the free version if you prefer. No hidden “close” button, no fake free tier, no anxiety-inducing countdown.
Is it available on iPhone?
For now, Fotomeal is an Android app, available on Google Play. An iOS version isn't on the roadmap yet — and we'd rather tell you straight than promise a date we couldn't keep.
